Linda and Bob VanHooreweghe welcome you to Leisure Harbor Inn, Bed & Breakfast and Marina!

Built directly on the Mississippi River, Leisure Inn is a pre-Victorian home in Cordova, Illinois, located just minutes from the Quad Cities. The main house as started in the 1840's and was completed in the early 1850's. In 1994, we opened our home as a Bed and Breakfast.

There are four guest bedrooms available, each with it’s own private bath. Guests may also enjoy the use of the library, sitting room, TV room and sunporch.

Breakfast is served in the dining room, with a memorable view of the river. In the summer months, riverboats make their way up and down the river, while in the winter the eagles call this area home.

River watchers will enjoy the view from the 3.4 acre estate. There is plenty of room to wander, or to just sit and relax, and soak in nature.

The small orchard with its variety of fruit trees - pears, peaches, apples and plums - make for a refreshing place to smell the blossoms.

For those using the river, Leisure Harbor Marina will come in handy to tie off. Plan to enjoy a good night’s rest and a delicious breakfast for your journey up river or down.

The village of Cordova dates to the early 1800's. This small town on the Mississippi River has an interesting history including river boats, clam-shell button factories and a limestone quarry. The history of Leisure Inn Bed & Breakfast is also a colorful story the owners, Linda and Bob, enjoy telling, (including their own wedding on the lawn).

Guests may enjoy visiting some of the local attractions in this community. The Cordova Baptist Church, The Quad Cities Nuclear Generating Station Visitors Center, Lock and Dam 14 and the I-80 Mississippi River Scenic Overlook are some of the local points of interest.
